Continuing the beautiful yet unsettling sunset imagery of the previous scene with Count Dooku on Coruscant, we find Obi-Wan, Mace, and Yoda discussing the monumental events that have occurred. Yoda knows that even though they won the Battle of Geonosis, the Jedi Order and the Republic have actually lost because of the ensuing conflict which will be catastrophic for the galaxy. He says his famous quote, the fittingly ironic final line of the film: "Begun the Clone War has." We then see the stormtrooper-esque clones in formation and going off into battle, reminiscent of the Nazi propaganda film Triumph of the Will. There's a similar and more obvious Nazi allusion sequence at Starkiller Base in The Force Awakens. Of course, the infamous "Imperial March" theme is put to good use. This is the unofficial start of the Empire. The following scene shows Anakin and Padme getting married. It's lovely and it's not. The Jedi Order and the Republic have betrayed their principles with the Clone Wars, and Anakin is betraying his by getting married. What a finale. I have never been so pumped up after watching a film. Seeing Attack of the Clones for the first time was the greatest experience I have ever had in a movie theater in my whole life.
